I know what you're thinking, "OH NO! What's Paige mean by a man hunt?" Do not fear good citizens! There was no real "man hunt" on Roberts campus, just a bunch of crazy teenagers playing a crazy game in the dark last night.
At about 11 o'clock last night, we all gathered in the dining commons to participate in a "man hunt". All the upperclassmen that were there to help with orientation this weekend went and hid throughout the campus. The underclassmen were divided out into four different teams and sent out to catch the upperclassmen and bring them back to our "jail". It was definitely a good time, and also a good way to familiarize yourself with the campus. Roberts campus is not a big campus by any stretch of the word, but, it's still a little disconcerning to be on an unfamiliar campus in the dark. This was definitely a fun way to become more comfortable with the campus at night.
I'm doing quite well here, really enjoying the people and the campus. The food's not bad, but I have a feeling that they feed you the good stuff the first week or so that you're here and then it all goes down hill from there. Ah, well. I'm looking forward to the guys soccer game tonight, and the variety show the upperclassmen are putting on.
Probably another post coming tonight after all the activities.
